How does the Svi Mykhailiuk signing fit into the Boston Celtics’ title hopes?

The Boston Celtics have officially signed Ukrainian wing Svi Mykhailiuk to a one-year deal on Thursday evening, adding him to the team’s regular roster for the NBA’s upcoming 2023-24 season. Mykhailiuk is known for his 3-point shooting, passing, and ball handling, and is expected to provide some helpful depth off of the bench for the Celtics in what they hope is their next run at a title.

While the former Charlotte Hornet forward may not provide all that much on the defensive end of the floor, his offensive skill set and size make him a valuable option to have on the roster. While Mykhailiuk may not be a game-changer, he fits the profile of what the team needs next season and can provide real help if his number is called.

The hosts of the Bluewire “Green With Envy” podcast recently sat down to talk about the signing and what they feel it means for the Celtics.
