DK Metcalf and Ken Walker expected to play vs. Steelers today

At this time of year every NFL team is suffering from a whole lot of injuries. This week the Seahawks put a couple of player on IR, had nearly a dozen players sit out their first practice and several are listed as questionable for today’s game against the Steelers.

Good news: at least two of them should be ready to go. According to Ian Rapoport at NFL Network, running back Ken Walker (shoulder) and wide receiver DK Metcalf (back) are “in a good place” to play today.

Metcalf has missed only one game in his career, which came earlier this season when he was dealing with multiple injuries. Meanwhile, Walker sat out several games earlier this year with an oblique issue.

Another key player who’s questionable is rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon, who’s missed the last two games with a hip pointer injury. According to Jeremy Fowler at ESPN, Witherspoon is 60/40 to play.

In 12 games Witherspoon has posted 16 pass breakups, three sacks and four tackles for a loss. He has only allowed an 86.3 passer rating in coverage.
