Detroit Pistons lose to Chicago Bulls, 117-115: Game thread replay

Detroit Pistons (15-47) vs. Chicago Bulls (28-34)

When: 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Where: Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

TV: Bally Sports Detroit.

Radio: WXYT-FM 97.1 (Pistons radio affiliates).

Box score

Starting lineups: Bulls start Patrick Beverley, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Alex Caruso, Nikola Vucevic; Pistons start Killian Hayes, Jaden Ivey, Rodney McGruder, Bojan Bogdanovic, James Wiseman.

Game notes: The Pistons have lost five in a row. They have lost twice to the Bulls this season, both by double digits. They play again in the regular season finale April 9 in Chicago. The Pistons are without Jalen Duren, Isaiah Livers and Isaiah Stewart, but Jaden Ivey and Bojan Bogdanovic are set to return after a one-game absence. We could see either of the Pistons' two-way players get a shot in the rotation. The Pistons also have the rest advantage, after the Bulls played in Toronto on Tuesday night, losing 104-98, to snap a two-game win streak. Chicago is a highly disappointing 11th in the Eastern Conference, 1½ games behind Washington for 10th, and owes its first-round pick to Orlando, protected 1-4. That pick is currently No. 7.

Andre Drummond, the Pistons' former franchise player, makes another visit to his former home. The 29-year-old, now in his 11th season, is averaging 6.4 points and 6.8 rebounds, shooting 62.1% in 13.1 minutes per game over 49 appearances off Chicago's bench. ... The Pistons next play Saturday in Cleveland.
