Dennis Schroder scores 22, Hawks pull out the close victory against Mavericks

The Atlanta Hawks beat the Dallas Mavericks in a close one, 105-102. This is the fourth straight victory for Atlanta (20-7).

Dennis Schroder put up 22 points on 9-15 shooting from the field and 4-8 from the free throw line. Other top contributors for Atlanta included Al Horford with 17 points and seven rebounds, DeMarre Carroll with 15 points and seven rebounds, and Paul Millsap with 13 points and 12 rebounds. On 8-22 shooting, including 1-6 from behind the arc, Monta Ellis scored 18 points for Dallas in the loss. Charlie Villanueva contributed 14 points and six rebounds and Rajon Rondo finished with 13 points and 11 assists.

Coming up, the Hawks battle the Los Angeles Clippers, who are 19-9 on the season. The Mavericks go up against the Phoenix Suns, currently sitting at 15-14 this year. The Mavericks are 0-1 versus Phoenix this season.
