Demario Davis retakes the top spot in Week 7 Saints player power rankings
Demario Davis retook the top spot in our New Orleans Saints player power rankings going into Week 7 after another strong performance, pushing his tag-team partner Pete Werner down to No. 2 in our list. Not bad for the 33-year old veteran.
There are two new entries to the top-25 this week: running back Mark Ingram II (No. 25) and defensive tackle Malcolm Roach (No. 22), which pushed two others off in tight end Adam Trautman (No. 25 last week) and punter Blake Gillikin (No. 18, having fallen off after a really poorly-timed shanked punt).
This week’s biggest riser is free safety Marcus Maye (climbing 10 spots), while the biggest fallers were cornerback Marshon Lattimore (losing 8 spaces) and defensive tackle David Onyemata (dropping 7 places). There were some other smaller moves up and down the list, but we’re seeing things begin to stabilize. Here’s the full list:
