DeMar DeRozan suffers Grade 1 thigh strain, ruled out vs. Pacers

The Chicago Bulls may be without one of their stars for the next few games.

In Monday’s loss to the Orlando Magic, DeMar DeRozan suffered a thigh injury, which on Tuesday was found to be a Grade 1 thigh strain following an MRI.

On Tuesday, Bulls coach Billy Donovan said at practice that DeRozan wouldn’t travel to Indianapolis ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Pacers but that Thursday’s game vs. Milwaukee Bucks wasn’t yet ruled out for Chicago’s All-Star.

DeRozan played through the injury on Monday, finishing with 19 points. three rebounds, and six assists in 36 minutes of action.
