Defensive lineman Mike Hall loses black stripe

·1 min read

Heading into Week 4 of the young 2021 season and there are still black stripes to be lost. The latest member to do is defensive lineman Mike Hall.

Hall was a four-star recruit out of Streetsboro, Ohio, and was the No. 10 ranked defensive tackle in the nation last year. He was one of only two D- linemen that signed with the Buckeyes this past year joining Tyleik Williams, who shed his black stripe just a short time ago.

Excited to be an official member of the Rushmen, listen to what Hall had to say as he addressed his teammates.

โ€œFirst off, I just want to thank the O-Line for pushing me every day, and shoutout to the unit. Shoutout to Coach Johnson. Go Bucks!โ€

Soon after Williams lost his black stripe, he made an immediate impact on the field against Tulsa. Maybe weโ€™ll end up seeing something similar with Mike Hall as Akron comes to town this Saturday night.
