David Tepper angrily leaves locker room after Panthers’ loss to Titans

Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper hasn’t exactly endeared himself to his team’s fans lately. But he may have summed up all of their feelings rather well on Sunday afternoon.

Week 12 brought yet another disappointment for the Panthers—this time, a 17-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans. And Tepper, according to Joe Person of The Athletic, was visibly (and audibly) upset . . .

Person proceeded to ask Reich during his postgame press conference if he spoke with Tepper after the final whistle blew.

“No, I didn’t,” he replied.

The Panthers, in picking up their fourth straight loss, now sit at 1-10. They are also the only team in the NFL not to record multiple wins this season.

A report from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo prior to kickoff indicated that Tepper and the Panthers may wait until the campaign is over to evaluate Reich’s job status.

“So a lot of folks have started to speculate—could it be one-and-done for Reich?” Garafolo said on NFL GameDay. “I’m not getting that sense right now. But, the Panthers surely wanna see some progress from [Bryce] Young as well as some progress from this team. Stuff to build on for both Young and this team going into 2024—after David Tepper, the owner, makes the evaluation on Reich once we get to the offseason.”

Carolina is set to face the 4-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13.
