Danuel House Jr. becoming a favorite within Sixers’ locker room

CAMDEN, N.J.–The Philadelphia 76ers have brought in some new additions in order to move forward in a tough Eastern Conference. They needed some toughness and players who can play on both ends of the floor, so that’s the type of player they brought in.

Danuel House Jr. is one of those additions to the team as he was brought in fairly early in free agency. As the Sixers continue to grow chemistry and build as a team, they have grown fond of House Jr., who has been one of the likable guys in the locker room.

The veteran out of Texas A&M makes music as he has his own record label so that might have something to do with it as he grows with his new team.

“I just talk to guys,” House Jr. said with a smile. “Guys actually talk to me and, of course, like, because I do music, people will really be talking to me about music and stuff. So a lot of guys that play basketball love music.”

The sharpshooter then revealed that Paul Reed has been the one who has shown the most interest in conversing with him.

“P-Reed specifically, he’ll be talking to me about music and stuff of that nature and sometimes other guys chime in, if they want to,” House Jr. added. “Other than that, guys got their conversations going on, but we all communicate evenly.”

House Jr.’s venture into music seems to have inspired some of the Sixers as Reed might be one to look into trying his hand at making music.

“P-Reed just started too,” House Jr. finished. “He’s got some stuff out there that he hasn’t released yet. I can’t wait until he do it though just to see because you never know. You never know what the crowd loves, what tone they like. I just tell him ‘Go for it’.”
