Danny Stutsman unveils ‘Texas Fears Oklahoma’ shirt, 'Horns Down' tattoo

After OU's 34-30 victory over Texas last weekend, Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman is doubling down on Texas hate by making T-shirts and showing off a new tattoo.

Following the University of Oklahoma’s close victory in the Red River Rivalry, Stutsman announced Thursday morning that he now has a new shirt on sale.

While posing alongside head coach Brent Venables, the two sported the new shirt depicting Stutsman wearing the coveted Golden Hat trophy. On the back, the shirt reads, "Oklahoma only fears God. Texas fears Oklahoma."

The quote comes from a pre-game speech Stutsman gave the Sooners before the rivalry game, as depicted in a video shared on the team's social media.

Did Stutsman really get a 'horns down' tattoo?

Yes, kind of.

Star linebackers Danny Stutsman and Jaren Kanak unveiled a pair of matching “Horns Down” tattoos on their right thighs after OU’s 34-30 victory.

The apparent new ink drew plenty of responses on social media sites, including the oft-asked question of whether Stutsman and Kanak would enjoy seeing the Hook ‘em sign whenever they sat down.

"No, I mean, you look down, you see the horns up and you instantly want to work out, get a lift in, be productive with your day, and it really just reminds you of the history of it," Stutsman told The Oklahoman.

But on Monday, Stutsman posted another picture with the hashtag #gotcha, which showed no tattoo on his thigh. Kanak replied to the tweet: "WAIT YOURS WAS FAKE?!"

On Wednesday, Stutsman appeared on the Pat McAfee Show where he was asked about the tattoo. Stutsman claimed to still have the tattoo.

“I mean, I’ve kind of kept it up. You know, it might be real or it might be fake,” Stutsman said as he pulled up the right leg of his shorts to show off evidence of the anti-Texas symbol, which was still there. “But I think you guys can see it right there.”

Stutsman added: “It could be a temporary tattoo ... But Texas fans, it is whatever they want to believe.”

It remains unclear if the original post depicted a temporary tattoo as a postgame troll of Texas fans, or if a real tattoo is actually on his other leg.
