Dallas Cowboys fans driving up Arizona Cardinals ticket prices for NFL Week 3 game

It's a tradition a lot of Arizona Cardinals fans would no doubt like to end.

Fans from other teams purchasing tickets on the resale market for their team, and driving up ticket prices in the process.

That tradition appears to be continuing at State Farm Stadium for Sunday's NFL Week 3 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

On Thursday, Vivid Seats projected that 49% of the stadium would be Cowboys fans for the 1:25 p.m. MST  kickoff in Glendale, via its Fan Forecast, which projects the crowds for games.

That means that 51% were projected to be Cardinals fans.

Not exactly an overwhelming majority, and not exactly a huge home-field advantage for the Cardinals.

Cowboys vs. Cardinals NFL Week 3 tickets on the rise

The onslaught of ticket purchases from Cowboys fans on resale sites is driving up prices for the game.

Vivid Seats listed the average ticket price for the game as of Thursday at $243 per ticket.

That could price out some Cardinals fans.

It did have tickets going for as low as $102 per ticket, however, if that is more in your price range.

Of course, plenty of other tickets were going for a lot more, driving up that average price per ticket to see the game.

Ticketmaster had tickets for as low as $153.51 for the game between the Cowboys and Cardinals as of Friday morning.

Tickets started at $157 each for the game via SeatGeek and StubHub had tickets starting at $153 each, including fees.
