Crimson Tide projected to earn No. 1 overall seed in March Madness

For the eighth time in school history, the Alabama Crimson Tide are champions of the SEC tournament. It is the Tide’s second title in the past three years under head coach Nate Oats as he continues to guide the program into uncharted territory.

Alabama knocked off the Texas A&M Aggies in the SEC title game by a score of 82-63 to put the exclamation point on an outstanding season. The victory was enough for ESPN Bracketology expert Joe Lunardi to move the Tide up to the No. 1 overall seed for March Madness.

The Tide are peaking at the perfect time as today is Selection Sunday and the NCAA March Madness field of 64 will be unveiled later this evening. Roll Tide!
