'What could have been' − Twitter reacts to Mizzou almost upsetting No. 1 Georgia
The Missouri Tigers were on the verge of pulling off perhaps the biggest upset of the college football season Saturday night when it led No. 1 Georgia 22-12 in the fourth quarter.
This was before the Bulldogs went on to score 14 unanswered points and eventually beat the Tigers, 26-22, to thwart the valiant upset attempt.
However, the final score didn't keep sports bettors and Bulldogs fans from taking to Twitter to show their nerves as for a majority of the game, it seemed the Tigers were going to pull off the win.
Here are Twitter reactions from Georgia's close win over Missouri:

Little known fact: “What could have been” is actually the official motto of the University of Missouri.

A comeback performance for Mizzou kicker Harrison Mevis
Tip of the cap to Missouri kicker Harrison Mevis.
Last week, Mevis missed a 26-yard field goal that would have given the Missouri the win over Auburn

Mizzou’s Inevitable Choke-Job denies the Glory of Big-Man Kicker Harrison Mevis.
And that makes me very sad.
He’s 250 lbs of the People’s Kicker. https://t.co/WLJqHJcNDP— Stephen Fricke (@StephenFricke13) October 2, 2022
