Could LSU's Malik Nabers be selected in 2024 NFL draft before Marvin Harrison Jr.?

Coming out of Ohio State, wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was viewed as the top non-quarterback option heading into the 2024 NFL draft. But with just over a month before the draft, there is some doubt that Harrison will be the first non-quarterback to hear his name called.

One NFL insider is looking at LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers as a potential contender for a higher draft position than Harrison.

"I wouldn't be shocked if Nabers ended up being the 1st WR off the board," NFL Network reporter Daniel Jeremiah posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, Monday. "I love MHJ and (Rome) Odunze but Nabers brings a different element. It'll come down to preference of style but I guarantee some teams will have Nabers at the top of the list."

The Athletic's NFL draft reporter Dane Brugler echoed Jeremiah calling his thought "100% true."

"Nabers has been viewed as WR1 for several teams since the season," Brugler posted on X. "And that says more about Nabers than anything else — he's a special talent."
