Columbus Clippers score 5 runs in 8th inning to top Toledo Mud Hens, win 3rd straight

Recap: The Clippers scored five runs in the eighth inning to win their third game in a row. Oscar Gonzalez, Jhonkensy Noel and Micah Pries had RBI doubles in the inning. Gonzalez was 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs and lifted his batting average to .289. Noel and Brayan Rocchio had two hits apiece. Zach Plesac started for Columbus and allowed two runs on four hits in four innings. Randy Labaut, Nic Enright (3-1) and Cade Smith combined for five shutout innings after Plesac left the game.
