Colorado football: Top 10 plays of the game vs. Nebraska

For a majority of the first half, it felt as if we were back in the Big 8 days with the lack of scoring between Colorado and Nebraska on Saturday. The game was scoreless midway through the second quarter when a mishandled Cornhuskers snap gave the Buffs possession deep in Nebraska territory.

As the game wore on and the Buffaloes pressured Nebraska into making mistakes, the highlights on both sides of the ball started to pile up. When it was all said and done, the Buffaloes rolled to a 36-14 win and are now 2-0 in the Deion Sanders era.

Here are my picks for Colorado’s top 10 plays of its home opener:

Tar'Varish Dawson catches Nebraska off guard on the reverse

Dylan Edwards breaks off a long run

Cam'Ron Silmon-Craig picks off Jeff Sims

Jordan Domineck blows up a run play in the backfield

Tar'Varish Dawson scores Colorado's first TD

Shedeur Sanders nearly completes a wild two-point conversion

Travis Hunter breaks a pair of tackles

Hank Zalinskas and the O-line spring Xavier Weaver for a big gain

Shedeur Sanders sniffs out the blitz and hits Weaver deep

Colorado's defense swarms Nebraska's rushing attempt
