COREY ROBINSON: The time immediately before the NBA trade deadline is an important one for fantasy managers, as the search begins for players whose value could increase with the right move. One such player, Spurs backup center Zack Collins, who's providing 11th round value in 9-cat formats over the last week. Rostered in 17% of Yahoo leagues.

He's a prime candidate to be stashed due to the status of starting center Jakob Poeltl. Poeltl's name has come up often in trade rumors, even with the Spurs expressing a desire to sign the pending free agent to a new deal this summer. And it appears as if San Antonio is looking to protect Poeltl based on his minutes.

Over the last two weeks, Collins is averaging 21.4 minutes per game, while Poeltl comes in at 22.9. Even if this isn't about the Spurs making sure Poeltl remains healthy for a potential trade, the minutes are there for Collins to provide tangible fantasy value. And he stands to play even more if Poeltl is dealt.
