College World Series: First pitch time announced for Tennessee-LSU
Tennessee begins play in the College World Series on Saturday.
The Vols will play LSU at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. First pitch between Tennessee and the Tigers is scheduled for 7 p.m. EDT, and ESPN will televise the matchup.
LSU won two contests in a three-game series versus the Vols during the regular season. That series was played at LSU March 30-April 1.
Tennessee won the series finale, 14-7, against the Tigers.
The Vols advanced to a second College World Series appearance in three years under head coach Tony Vitello.
The College World Series features a double-elimination format.
