College football schedule today: TV coverage, channels, scores for Week 5 Big Ten games

After an action-packed Week 4 in which Ohio State solidified itself as a top team in the nation and Penn State dominated a ranked Iowa opponent, Week 5 features another interesting slate of Big Ten games.

Atop the list is No. 2 Michigan vs. Nebraska, as the Cornhuskers try to undercut the Wolverines with Matt Rhule at the helm. Michigan didn't come out of the gate quickly against Rutgers, but still had a decisive 31-7 victory in Ann Arbor. This will be Michigan's first road test of the season as it heads to Lincoln.

The Hawkeyes are licking their wounds after Penn State dominated in a 31-0 victory. Now they will go up against another team that's reeling in Michigan State. Iowa is playing a home game this week and looking to right the ship offensively following a truly abysmal performance on that side of the ball.

Penn State, for its part, is hitting the road to play Northwestern. The Wildcats are coming off an emotional overtime win against Minnesota, whereas the Nittany Lions have looked extremely strong in every facet of the game thus far.

Maryland vs. Indiana and Purdue vs. Illinois round out the in-conference games this week. Minnesota will play another out-of-conference game against Louisiana, while Rutgers hosts Wagner in a non-con matchup.

Here's a look at the full Big Ten schedule, with times and TV channels included.
