Coachella Valley Firebirds announce promotional nights for 2023-24 season

The Coachella Valley Firebirds have released their promotion and theme nights for the upcoming 2023-24 season, which begins Oct. 13 at Acrisure Arena.

The desert's hockey team will have 36 home games and 14 of them will have something special accompanying the hockey game.

Many of last year's theme nights will return, including wildly popular ones like the Ugly Sweater/Teddy Bear Toss (Dec. 23), Pride Night (Jan. 19) and Military Appreciation Night (March 23).

But there are some new ones this year including a Dia De Los Muertos night on Oct. 31, an MLK Day celebration (Jan. 15), a Mardi Gras Night (Feb. 3) and Kids Day (Feb. 18).

  • Oct. 31: vs. ABB – Dia De Los Muertos, presented by Estrella Jalisco

  • Nov. 21: vs. ONT – Hockey Fights Cancer, presented by Eisenhower Health

  • Dec. 23: vs. BAK – Ugly Sweater and Teddy Bear Toss, presented by 1 Million Strong

  • Jan. 6: vs. ABB – Hometown Heroes Night, presented by Verizon

  • Jan. 15: vs. HSK – MLK Day and Hockey is for Everyone

  • Jan. 19: vs. CGY – Pride Night

  • Feb. 3: vs. TUC – Mardi Gras, presented by buzzbox

  • Feb. 10: vs. HSK – Pink in the Rink, presented by El Paseo Jewelers

  • Feb. 18: vs. HSK – Kids Day, presented by FirstBank

  • March 9: vs. TUC – Fuego’s Birthday, presented by LiUNA

  • March 23: vs. TEX – Military Appreciation Night, presented by Spotlight 29 Casino

  • April 14: vs. SD – Seattle Kraken Night, presented by Alaska Airlines

  • April 21: vs. SD – Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Acrisure

All promo and theme nights will feature a giveaway that will be announced at a later date.
