Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 12 game

The Denver Broncos (5-5) hope to continue the league's best win streak against the Cleveland Browns (7-3) in a Week 12 matchup at home.

Sean Payton's team has won four straight games and has made history along the way. The Broncos outlasted the Green Bay Packers, snapped their historic losing streak against the Kansas City Chiefs and won two primetime games against the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings. Beside the Chiefs game, the Broncos have won by an average of 1.7 points. Courtland Sutton has made two tightrope touchdowns in the last two games.

The Browns won their first game with Dorian Thompson-Robinson at the helm after Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending shoulder injury by beating AFC North foe the Pittsburgh Steelers 13-10. With 1:15 left in the game, the rookie completed four straight passes as Cleveland marched down the field for the game-winning kick.

While Denver's defense has forced multiple turnovers (five against Kansas City) in every game of their win streak except against the Packers, Cleveland boasts the league's best defense. They are only allowing 143.7 passing yards and 99.6 rushing yards per game. Myles Garrett leads the NFL with 13 sacks.

Lorenzo Reyes: Broncos 17, Browns 10

Denver has turned their season all the way around, in particular on defense. With Cleveland starting Dorian Thompson-Robinson, I see the Browns struggling to put up points. Still, Cleveland has a potent pass rush and Denver’s passing game has been efficient, but rather unproductive. The margin for error will be thin. Playing in Denver, the environment should give the Broncos a boost.

Tyler Dragon: Browns 20, Broncos 17

The Browns have the No. 1 defense in the NFL. Cleveland’s defense is allowing them to stay in games even with rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson at quarterback. Winners of four straight, the Broncos are playing much better football on both sides of the ball. However, the Browns defense is bound to cause problems in Denver.

Safid Deen: Broncos 20, Browns 13

The Broncos have been so bad offensively that they’ve found themselves in close games where their resilience has grown. It’s been a recent sight to see for Russell Wilson and Sean Payton. And it’ll continue at home against the visiting Browns.

Victoria Hernandez: Broncos 23, Browns 19

The Browns defense is venerable and will make it difficult for the Broncos offense, but Denver has all the momentum in the world right now. Courtland Sutton has emerged as a true playmaker and could be the X-factor in yet another close game. The Denver defense has also risen as a force to be feared and could feast on rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

Jordan Mendoza: Broncos 18, Browns 16

Two teams riding impressive winning streaks makes this an intriguing matchup. Denver knows how to win close games, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson will have to battle the Mile High crowd and environment in his first road game. Denver makes it five in a row.
