Chris Long AMA: Epic car prank on Rams DBs, memories from St. Louis days

Chris Long was an excellent player with the St. Louis Rams and despite never making the Pro Bowl or playoffs with the team that drafted him second overall in 2008, he had a great career in horns. He finished his time in the NFL with the Patriots and Eagles, winning two Super Bowls in his last three seasons.

Long enjoyed more team success with the Patriots and Eagles, but he loved his time in St. Louis with the Rams. He had the chance to play alongside Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers, collectively giving St. Louis one of the better defensive lines in football.

Now one of the more entertaining podcast hosts in sports, Long held an AMA (ask me anything) on Reddit and answered questions about everything from his playing career to his favorite jelly. We pulled out some Rams-related answers from Long, including his story of the epic car prank he pulled on the defensive backs in St. Louis during a trip to Seattle.

He also mentioned a prank on James Laurinaitis by putting crickets in his car, which led to the sale of said car.

(Warning: Long’s answers contain explicit language)
