Chiefs’ Creed Humphrey partners with Boulevard to become ‘official protector of tailgates’

Creed Humphrey was already the official protector of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, but he added a new title this past week.

The Chiefs’ second-year center has entered an endeavor with Boulevard Brewing Co. where he was declared the “official protector of tailgates.” The “Protect Your Tailgate” campaign is set to begin this fall with a “Tailgate Gala” which will benefit the KC Pet Project, with opportunities for Chiefs and Boulevard fans alike to win different prizes.

“The Boulevard team could not be more thrilled to welcome Creed Humphrey to our squad,” Vice President of Marketing Brian Reames said, via press release. “It has been great getting to know Creed throughout this collaboration. He is a true team player and the perfect fit to protect Boulevard’s most valuable teammates … our beers!”

“I am all about supporting local and giving back to the community, especially with two of my favorites: Kansas City’s beer and KC Pet Project,” Humphrey said, via press release. “I can’t wait to help protect your tailgates with Boulevard Brewing across the Midwest this fall. Cheers to the football season!”

Boulevard says to stay tuned for more details on the gala and the partnership with Humphrey.
