Chiefs 2022 schedule news tracker

The 2022 NFL schedule is slated to be released in its entirety during the evening of Thursday, May 12.

With the NFL turning the schedule reveal into a week-long spectacle, we’re going to be keeping track of all the news and reports coming out prior to the big reveal. Beginning Monday, May 9, various NFL broadcast partners will be revealing select games from the schedule. Here’s the full schedule for those releases:

Monday, May 9 – ESPN to announce during Good Morning America

Tuesday, May 10 – CBS to announce during CBS Mornings

Wednesday, May 11 – FOX to announce during FOX & Friends

Thursday, May 12 – NBC to announce during Today Show

The Chiefs will travel to Raymond James Stadium in Week 4 and take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first rematch of Super Bowl LV. The game will be on prime time for “Sunday Night Football.”

No international games for Kansas City in 2022

The Chiefs won’t be playing in Germany, Mexico or the United Kingdom during the 2022 NFL season. The NFL announced their entire international slate of games for the upcoming season and Kansas City was excluded. That means that within the next 2-3 years, they’ll likely be traveling abroad for a game.

Chiefs to face Chargers on 'Thursday Night Football' in Week 2

The Chiefs’ home opener was revealed during the course of the 2022 NFL draft. They’ll face the Los Angeles Chargers during the Week 2 debut of “Thursday Night Football” on Amazon Prime Video.
