What are they saying?

Thibaut Courtois has warned Chelsea to expect more of the same against Brighton after a frustrating stalemate with Everton on Saturday.

"We want to finish the year well," Courtois told Chelsea TV.

"It's two difficult home games. Brighton is a team that are doing well in the Premier League. I think it will be the same - a defensive team trying to counter-attack us, and Stoke will be the same.

"We just have to try and recover well. Everything comes fast after the new year so I think the manager will try to use all the players he has available.

"We have to be ready and show the manager we can play. If everyone does that we will be fine."

Brighton manager Chris Hughton acknowledges it will be a tough task to avoid defeat when they visit the champions.

"We go to Chelsea knowing in most people's minds it is difficult to get a result there.

"There aren't too many who will expect that but that's the challenge and for this club and these players these are the challenges we have been looking forward to the most.

"In the other big games, apart from Liverpool (a 5-1 loss), we have been in the games."
