Vanderbilt's first-round exit in the SEC tournament to Florida complicated matters, but the Commodores managed to earn an at-large bid for the 2024 Women's NCAA Tournament. It's the first time in 10 years Vanderbilt has earned a trip to March Madness.
The Commodores (22-9) are a No. 12 seed and will face another 12-seed in Columbia on Wednesday on ESPNU as part of the tournament's First Four in.

In her third season in Nashville, coach Shea Ralph put together Vandy's first 20-win season since 2012-13 when the Commodores finished 21-12 and lost in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Vanderbilt hasn't advanced past the second round of the tournament since 2009 when former coach Melanie Balcomb guided the program to the Sweet 16.
Vanderbilt has a trio of players averaging double figures, led by Iyana Moore (13.9 points), Sacha Washington (12.1) and Jordyn Cambridge (12.0). Vandy started the season 17-1 before a stretch from Jan. 1-Feb. 8 saw Ralph's team lose six of seven games.
