What channel is Bucs-Lions on? Time, TV schedule for Buccaneers playoff game

Can the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pull off another upset and take another step toward the Super Bowl?

The Bucs face the Detroit Lions in the NFC divisional playoffs. The winner will advance to next week's NFC Championship Game against either the No. 1-seeded San Francisco 49ers or the No. 7-seeded Green Bay Packers for a spot in the big game in Las Vegas.

Tampa won five of its last six games in the regular season to finish 9-8 and win the NFC South. Baker Mayfield, the new quarterback after Tom Brady retired, lit up the Philadelphia Eagles in last week's playoff opener, throwing for 337 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-9 win. The Bucs didn't even need big nights from their top two receivers, Mike Evans (NFL-leading 13 TDs) and Chris Godwin (1,024 yards).

Detroit is one of the biggest feel-good stories in sports this decade. At 12-5, the Lions won their division for the first time since 1993 and last week beat the Los Angeles Rams and former franchise quarterback Matthew Stafford 24-23 for their first playoff win since 1991. Jared Goff has revived his career in Detroit much the way Mayfield has in Tampa, throwing for 4,575 yards and 30 touchdowns this season. His top target is All-Pro receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who has 1,515 yards and 10 TDs, to go with Pro Bowl rookie tight end Sam LaPorta (889 yards, 10 TDs).

The Lions won these teams' first meeting in Week 6 back in October, beating the Bucs in their "creamsicle" throwback 20-6. Goff threw for 353 yards and two scores in that game, while Mayfield threw for just 206 and an interception.
