Celebrate New Year's Eve in Southeast Indiana

Dec. 26—LAWRENCEBURG — 2024 is almost upon us, and this New Year's Eve, we've got several great events on the calendar in Southeast Indiana, including ice skating, dancing, and the traditional New Year's Eve ski party on the slopes at Perfect North.

Ice skating

Downtown Lawrenceburg's Winter Wonderland Ice Rink will be open to skaters on New Year's Eve from noon to 5 p.m. Located at Todd Creech Park, the covered rink offers a low admission fee (including skate rental) of $8 for adults, $6 for children 12-and-under, and is free for children under 4.

New Year's Eve at Boogie Nights

Hit the dance floor at Hollywood Casino's Boogie Nights in Lawrenceburg, a popular dance club that has been named "Best Nightlife" in Indiana. Enjoy non-stop tunes throughout the evening, plus a balloon drop at midnight. Admission charged; must be 21 years of age or older to enter.

New Year's Eve Celebration at Perfect North Slopes

Join Perfect North on December 31 for their annual New Year's Eve Celebration on the Slopes. In addition to skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing throughout the day (weather permitting; lift tickets required), attendees can enjoy party favors for the first 1,000 people and a DJ in the lodge. Right before midnight, ski instructors and ski patrol members will glide down the darkened slopes in a torchlight parade — an annual tradition. There will also be a fireworks display to ring in the New Year. This event is free to the public.
