"When we were 8-0 and then lost to CB West, they didn't let it discourage them or keep them from their goals. They learned from it and just kept winning. I couldn't be happier for all this team was able to do this season."

Hetrick, who's had seven winning seasons and seven district playoff appearances as head coach with an overall 65-44 record, guided his 2022 team to a 7-4 mark.

"We had a lot of guys from our team this year playing last year and getting valuable time," Hetrick said.

"And they had goals for this season and worked hard to reach them. They gave everyone a season we'll never forget."
