Cavs’ Isaac Okoro no longer in COVID-19 health and safety protocol

Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Isaac Okoro has joined the team in Orlando ahead of two road games starting on Monday against the Magic, head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said.

Okoro has missed the past four games due to a left foot sprain while he was also on the COVID-19 health and safety protocol list. He is now listed as questionable to play on Monday with a left foot sprain after the team removed the health and safety protocol designation from the injury report.

Bickerstaff said the Cavaliers have an update to make on Okoro but decided against revealing that information prior to the contest, according to Kelsey Russo of The Athletic.

Okoro, who was the fifth overall pick, started in each of his two games with the Cavaliers this season, averaging 5.5 points, three rebounds and 2.5 assists in 37.5 minutes.
