Cast your votes for Upstate high school boys athlete of the week

Here are the finalists for Upstate high school boys athlete of the week from April 29-May 5. Polls will close at 5 p..m. Wednesday and multiple votes are allowed.

Last week’s winner was Landrum baseball player Titus Poore with more than 5,000 votes.

Carson Boleman, Southside Christian: Boleman pitched a complete game and struck out 17 batters as the Sabres beat Lewisville, 6-3, in the baseball playoffs.

Wilfer Bustamante, J.L. Mann: Bustamante scored two goals in a 3-2 soccer win against Clover in the Upper State semifinals.

Chansen Cole, Boiling Springs: Cole pitched a shutout (four hits allowed and seven strikeouts) and also scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh in a 1-0 win against Woodmont.

Erik Erlenkeuser, T.L. Hanna: Erlenkeuser shot 68 for medalist honors as T.L. Hanna won the Region 1-AAAAA golf tournament.

States Farr, Spartanburg: Farr homered, drove in three runs, scored two and was 2-for-2 with two walks as Spartanburg beat Rock Hill, 7-1.

Liam Montes, St. Joseph's: Montes scored four goals in an 8-0 soccer win against Bamberg-Ehrhardt.

Brody Pike, Powdersville: In three soccer victories, Pike totaled eight goals and three assists.

Will Ruth, Dorman: Ruth shot a 70 for a 142 total and took medalist honors at the Southern Cross Junior Invitational golf tournament in Aiken.

Mitch Wilson, Dorman: Wilson homered in back-to-back games and finished 5-for-7 with five RBIs as Dorman won baseball playoff games against Blythewood and Hillcrest.
