Dylan Carlson still has legitimate five-category upside
Fantasy managers already know about Dylan Carlson's power upside, but NBC Sports EDGE's Drew Silva thinks the 22-year-old could soon provide stolen base production as well.

DREW SILVA: Dylan Carlson found his groove down the stretch last year at age 21, so much so that he got asked about clean up for the Cardinals, and each of their three wildcard series games against the Padres. He for some reason began this year batting mostly seventh or even eighth. But manager Mike Schult did move Carlson up to the number two spot in the order toward the end of April. And he's really taken to that role sandwiched between Tommy Edman, Paul Goldschmidt, and Nolan Arenado.
Carlson went yard on each of the final two days of May, and then slugged his sixth home run of the year on June 2 at Dodger Stadium, after going 2 for 4 with an RBI single in Los Angeles, on June 1. The 22-year-old former number three overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft, Carlson has begun to showcase his power potential, and should at some point begin showing off some speed. Assuming on base percentage remains at its current lofty perch.
Carlson had 20 stolen bases in 126 minor league games in 2019, along with 26 home runs in a 914 OPS. There's legitimate five category fantasy upside here.
