Ravens 31, Cardinals 24: 2 INTs doom Arizona is 5th straight loss

The Arizona Cardinals played another quality opponent tough but ended up with their fifth consecutive loss.

Cardinals 7, Ravens 0

The Cardinals got on the board first with a 12-play drive to start the game. Quarterback Josh Dobbs sneaked it in from one yard out.

They were aided by two Baltimore penalties.

It appeared it would be a three-and-out with Dobbs getting sacked on third down but there was an illegal contact penalty.

CB Marlon Humphrey was flagged for defensive pass interference on Marquise Brown in the end zone to put the ball at the one.

Dobbs was 3-for-3 for 24 yards on the drive.

Strip sack, overturned and a missed FG

On third down, Zaven Collins stripped Lamar Jackson for a sack and Budda Baker recovered.

That is how it appeared at least.

Upon review, it was ruled a forward pass and incomplete.

The Ravens attempted a 53-yard field goal that Justin Tucker missed.

The Cardinals took over at their 43.

Stuffed on 4th down again

The Cardinals got into Baltimore territory and had fourth and less than a yard. They went for it on fourth down and the officials had to measure.

However, after the ball was originally spotted, an official moved it back and the measurement was short, turning the ball over on downs for the second time.

Damien Williams hurt

Emari Demercado played almost every snap of the first half, but Damien Williams came in briefly. He had two carries and apparently injured his foot. It was announced he was questionable to return.

Dobbs picked off!

After picking up a couple of first downs, on the first play after the two-minute warning, Dobbs overthrew Michael Wilson and his throw was picked off by Brandon Stephens.

The Ravens took over at the Arizona 43.

The Ravens turned the Dobbs interception into a touchdown. Six plays after the pick, Gus Edwards scored on a one-yard touchdown run.

Odell Beckham hurt

Beckham suffered a stomach contusion on an incomplete throw to him and he was announced as questionable to return to the game.

BJ Ojulari gets 1st career sack!

The Cardinals scored points in the second half for the first time since Week 5. Dobbs hit Trey McBride for a 17-yard score, but it needed a major extra effort from McBride and blockers, who pushed and pulled him the final three yards into the end zone.

Dobbs ran in the two-point conversion.

Ravens 31, Cardinals 15

The Ravens tacked on a late touchdown to ensure the 9.5-point was covered. Gus Edwards had a one-yard touchdown run for his second score of the game after Antonio Hamilton was flagged for pass interference in the end zone.

With only the faintest amount of hope, down 16 points, the Cardinals moved down the field and got a touchdown. Dobbs found Hollywood Brown for a one-yard touchdown pass.

Dobbs had the two-point conversion but there was a holding penalty so they had to retry it and failed.

Those betting the Ravens to cover the 9.5-point spread breathed a sigh of relief.
