Cardinals officially release WR Chosen Anderson, save $12M in cap space

The Arizona Cardinals made official what was reported would happen and as more or everyone expected to happen. They announced the release of wide receiver Chosen (Robbie) Anderson.

The move will save the Cardinals  $12 million in salary cap space for 2023. He was due $8.8 million in salary, $200,000 in workout bonuses and a roster bonus of $3 million.

The Cardinals acquired Anderson in a trade with the Carolina Panthers for a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 seventh-rounder.

In 10 games with Arizona, he did not do well. He had only seven catches for 76 yards. He logged only 209 offensive snaps.
