The Cardinals’ defensive starters vs. Chiefs
The Arizona Cardinals had all their projected starters in the lineup on defense when they took on the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday unlike last week’s preseason opener against the Denver Broncos.
Safety Budda Baker and linebacker Kyzir White sat out last week. They did not on Saturday.
Here is the starting lineup they sent out on defense and some key substitutions.
Their first defensive series was in nickel with five defensive backs.
DL L.J. Collier
OLB Zaven Collins
OLB Dennis Gardeck
ILB Kyzir White
ILB Josh Woods
CB Marco Wilson
CB Kei’Trel Clark
S Budda Baker
S Jalen Thompon
DL Leki Fotu entered the game in the second series when they went with a base defense.
The whole defensive starting lineup played two series together.
Clark started after Christian Matthew started at cornerback last week.
Woods was in the game with White instead of Krys Barnes. Barnes and Woods started the opener.
An offer for Cardinals fans
