After one of the most drunken victory tours in the history of sports, Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals now have the spoils of their success.

The Capitals unveiled their championship rings on Monday and, as is the norm, they are big, colorful and loaded with jewels.

The stats

The rings are made of 14-karat white and yellow gold and feature 252 diamonds, 35 rubies and a single star-shaped sapphire. They weigh in at a whopping 10.2 carats.

Each player’s ring is personalized with his name and images of the Stanley Cup and Capitol building in Washington.

Players received their rings at a ceremony Monday night.

“We have always had one single, unwavering goal for the Washington Capitals: to build a team as great as our fan base,” owner Ted Leonsis said in a statement. “These rings will now forever be a reminder for the players, coaches, and fans: we did it.”
