Bulls general manager Marc Eversley to represent team at draft lottery

Chicago Bulls general manager Marc Eversley will reportedly represent the organization at the NBA draft lottery on Tuesday, according to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago.

The Bulls will be hoping Eversley can bring the organization some luck as they face low odds of keeping their first-round pick. They enter the lottery slotted eighth but will send their pick to the Orlando Magic if it lands outside of the top four.

Of course, Chicago traded its first-round pick this year to the Magic in the deal to acquire All-Star Nikola Vucevic. They have a 20.3% chance of keeping the pick, but will likely end up sending it to Orlando barring a miraculous jump up in the lottery.

The organization last won the No. 1 overall pick in 2008 when they drafted Derrick Rose. Since then, the highest they have selected was fourth when they drafted Patrick Williams from Florida State last year.

The NBA draft is scheduled to take place on July 29.
