Bucs re-sign DL Greg Gaines to 1-year deal

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are bringing back another one of their own free agents, re-signing defensive lineman Greg Gaines to a one-year deal, per Fox Sports’ Greg Auman.

Gaines provided veteran depth and experience for the Bucs’ defensive front last season, and he’ll be looking at the same role again this season.

As Auman points out, Gaines’ return could signal the end of Will Gholston’s long and underrated run in Tampa Bay, as the Bucs have plenty of other pieces returning along the defensive line for the 2024 season.
