Browns trade up in 2nd round, select Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

The Cleveland Browns got aggressive in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft. Cleveland traded up from No. 59 to No. 52 in order to select Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.

The Browns dealt with the Carolina Panthers to slide up and select the swift Owusu-Koramoah. He was a popular projection for the Browns at No. 26 overall in the first round, but Owusu-Koramoah slid due to questions about his positional fit and size. He is more of a hybrid safety/linebacker type of player who excels in coverage and chasing down targets in space.
