Browns re-sign restricted free agent CB A.J. Green to one-year deal

As the NFL free agency window is set to open up during the legal tampering period tomorrow, the Cleveland Browns have re-signed one of their own. While cornerback A.J. Green was a restricted free agent and was likely to be tendered anyway, the team has agreed to a one-year extension with the 24-year-old former undrafted free agent.

With Greg Newsome II set to play outside full-time, Green can expect to have a firm chance to land the role in the nickel as he played there throughout the preseason. Stay tuned tomorrow as the festivities are set to begin as the action will be fast.
