Browns believe in RB Jerome Ford heading into 2023
It was a disappointing season for Kareem Hunt who has likely played his last snaps with the Cleveland Browns. The team likely drafted Jerome Ford last season as a potential replacement as he does a lot of the same things as Hunt did as a receiver out of the backfield.
The question will be if he is ready for the third down back position and rumors out of Indianapolis are that the team believes he is up to the task. Ford runs with power and force, looking to create contact and yards after contact similar to Hunt. He has reliable hands and the athleticism to make people miss in the open field, the team will be just fine giving Ford a bigger role in 2023.
