Brooklyn Nets sign NBA champion Chris Chiozza to roster

The offseason has been quite a busy one for the Brooklyn Nets and as the regular season rapidly approaches the team is making some of its final signings.

On Friday, the Brooklyn Nets announced the signing of guard Chris Chiozza of the Golden State Warriors. Last season Chiozza averaged two points and nearly two assists per game on limited minutes for the NBA Champions. Chiozza only barely played double-digit minutes for the Warriors but proved himself as a good roleplayer.

Over the last four seasons, Chiozza has played in 70 games in the NBA G-League for the Santa Cruz Warriors, Long Island Nets, and Rio Grande Valley. He’s averaged 13 points, four boards, over seven assists, and a couple of steals in his tenure in the G-League.

Chiozza went undrafted after playing at the University of Florida for four years. He looks to earn himself some minutes on the hardwood for the Nets roster.
