Brooklyn Nets listed as potential trade suitor for Warriors’ Jordan Poole

The Brooklyn Nets are regarded as a potential trade suitor for Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole, according to a recent post by James Piercey of the NBA Analysis Network. Poole just finished his fourth season with the team and currently has four years left on his contract after signing an extension in October.

The Nets have an important offseason ahead of them as they ponder what direction they want to go into as a franchise. Brooklyn finished the 2022-23 season as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs before getting swept in the first round by the Philadelphia 76ers.

As of right now, Brooklyn has to focus on balancing out the roster by trying to get more depth at the guard and big man spots. Spencer Dinwiddie is the team’s primary lead guard, but he has one more year left on his deal. If the Nets are looking to rebuild, going after Poole would not be a bad option, but it will depend on how much it would cost to trade for him.
