Brooklyn Nets featured in 13 nationally televised games for 2022-23 season

Following a disappointing and stressful offseason and a poor playoff performance in the first round in 2022, it seems that the NBA has decided to give them fewer nationally televised games.

With the regular season schedule released, Brooklyn is surely preparing for their matchups, but the franchise will be seen by much fewer viewers. In the 2021-22 season the team had 26 televised games. In the upcoming 2022-23 season the organization only has 13.

While there are few other games being televised on NBATV, only games on ABC, ESPN, and TNT are broadcasted nationally. The Nets will play just over a dozen games on these stations.

The team’s first televised game will be against the Milwaukee Bucks, also facing off against the Knicks, the 76ers, the Celtics, the Suns, the Bulls, and the Heat. Brooklyn will play seven games away with six taking place in the Barclay’s Center.

The Nets will surely get more games on national television in the 2023-24 season if the team meets expectations.
