Brooklyn Nets in bottom of league in NBA season ticket sales

The Brooklyn Nets’ start to the NBA regular season was a slow one but the team looks to be bouncing back following their win earlier this week. Despite the improved play on the hardwood, Nets fans still have their reservations, they must, as the team is apparently “dead last” in the NBA for season ticket sales.

According to Nets insider Brian Lewis of the New York Post:

The Brooklyn Nets are dead last in the NBA when it comes to season ticket sales — with demand off more than 30% from last year as the new season tips off, sources told The Post.

For the 2022-23 campaign, billionaire Joe Tsai’s money-losing franchise had sold roughly 5,500 season tickets at the 17,732-seat Barclays Center, according to an NBA owner and an insider who both saw a recent confidential league report.

It’s disappointing from a business standpoint for the Nets to see the poor ticket sales numbers. For them to fix this issue, it will be up to them to start winning again and that will bring the fans back to the Barclays Center.
