Brook Hill soccer teams sweep Dallas-Lakehill Prep

Jan. 23—BULLARD — Soccer teams from The Brook Hill School notched conference wins over Dallas-Lakehill Prep Monday evening at Herrington Stadium.

The Lady Guard got the evening started by posting a 3-1 win over the visitors.

Hadleigh Clark, Riley-Jane McCord and Caroline Smith scored a goal each for the home team (11-3-1, 4-0).

Scarlett Kerr recorded two assists and Clark had one.

Brook Hill will return to the pitch on Monday, January 29 by traveling to Tyler to take on Bishop TK Gorman.

The Guard slammed the Warriors, 10-0, to move to 10-0-1, 6-0.

Alejandro Martinez collected a hat trick for the Orange and White, while Marlon Rataj punched in two goals.

Pancho Ramirez, Junior Gavito and Rodrigo Del Pozo added a goal apiece for Brook Hill.

Rataj picked up a pair of assists while Kamsi Amaonwu had one.

Christian Pous made one save for the winners and Luke Visser had four stops.

District play will continue for the Guard at 5 p.m. Thursday when Dallas Lutheran is scheduled to visit Herrington Stadium.
