Braintree is offering COVID-19 vaccine booster shot shots Monday

BRAINTREE – A walk-in clinic to administer COVID-19 booster shots will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, in the Cahill Auditorium of town hall, 1 John F. Kennedy Memorial Drive.

The Moderna booster will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Adults over the age of 18 are eligible for COVID booster shots.

To receive the booster, the recipient must be age 18 or older and have completed their vaccination series by June 5. Residents must bring their vaccination cards and health insurance information to the clinic.

On Thursday, the health department reported 34 new COVID-19 cases in Braintree, for a total of 5,555 since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. In the previous two weeks, there were 239 cases of COVID-19 in the town.
