Boston Celtics short-timer Perry Jones III signs with Los Prados de Santo Domingo

Former Boston Celtics short-timer Perry Jones III has signed a new deal to play for Los Prados de Santo Domingo of the Dominican Republic’s TBS League. Jones, a product of Baylor University, was picked up with the No. 28 pick of the 2012 NBA draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder, with whom he would play a total of three seasons before being dealt to the Celtics in July of 2015.

The Texan small forward would never end up suiting up for Boston however, with Jones being waived by the Celtics near the end of October of the same year before the regular season began.

He has since played stints with the (then) Iowa Energy, (now Wolves) and Windy City Bulls in the G League, and abroad with Khimki Moscow, Bursaspor, S. Oliver Wurzburg, and the Taipei Fubon Braves.
