BOOM x 4! Ohio State lands its fourth commitment of the weekend

Ohio State football is in the midst of another hot recruiting streak, as the positive momentum continued on Sunday with another 2025 commit.

On Friday it was defensive end London Merritt, Saturday saw two BOOM’s with linebacker Tarvos Alford and wide receiver De’zie Jones. Sunday was safety DeShawn Stewart making his pledge to the Buckeyes, giving Ohio State four commits on the weekend.

Stewart, who preps at the same high school as Jones in New Jersey, stands 6-foot, 2-inches and weighs 185-pounds while being ranked as the No. 284 overall prospect and 24th safety according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is the first safety commit for the Buckeyes in the class.

Ohio State now holds 11 total commitments and is ranked as the No. 2 overall class in the nation in 247Sports Team Rankings. The Buckeyes are in contention to land the nation’s top class come next February.
