10 teams

Dawson girls' tennis: The Mustangs swept the Class 3A Region 5 tournament on Friday, winning titles at every position. Winners included Isabelle Jacobsma (1 singles), Mia Jones (2 singles), Kathleen Donohue (3 singles), Caitlin Budacz-Kauflin/Kate Aldworth (1 doubles), Malaika Burkholder/Jojo Jenkins (2 doubles), Sophia Payvar/Moon Mullins-Sebor (3 doubles) and Chloe Sebek/Natalie Korczak (4 doubles).

Erie girls' tennis: The Tigers won Class 4A Region 5, winning six titles to qualify six lines to this week's individual state tournament. Winners included Nanoha Nakamura (1 singles) Campbell Moore (3 singles), Francie Mueller/Kendall Wachowiak (1 doubles), Stella Landis/Lizzie Owens (2 doubles), Addie Rice/Brooke Jordan (3 doubles) and Addie Osborne/Avery Gilbert (4 doubles).

Girls tennis: Erie dominates 4A Region 5

Erie track and field: The boys won the 15-team Front Range League Championships at French Field in Fort Collins last week. The girls were third. Jackson Cowgill won shot put (49 feet, 3 inches) and his brother Mason won discus (149-11).

Fairview boys' swimming: The Knights grabbed top-state times and set school records at the Front Range League Championships over the weekend, finishing runner-up to Fossil Ridge. Utah commit Layton Sealman took the 50-yard freestyle with a state-best time of 20.47 seconds and also won the 100 breaststroke (57.47 and 56.33 in prelims). Wesley Schlachter claimed the state's best time in the 500 freestyle (4:39.21), while Soren Koschmann won the 100 free (45.32) with the state's second-best time. Those three and James Kershaw were a part of the 400 freestyle relay, which won with the top-state mark (3:03.76), as well as the 200 medley relay that took gold with an automatic All-American time (1:31.99).

Fairview girls' lacrosse: The Class 5A No. 3 Knights (11-3) beat 4A No. 1 Mead (14-1), 14-12, on Saturday, ending the Mavericks' 27-game winning streak. They host No. 14 Rock Canyon in the opening round on Wednesday.

Holy Family boys' lacrosse: The Tigers (10-5) ended the regular season with blowout wins over Jefferson Academy and Prairie View to secure a first-round home game and the No. 13 seed in the 24-team 4A postseason bracket. Sophomore Browen Wills led the way with nine goals and two assists, giving him 41 and 18 this season.

Longmont track and field: The boys and girls won the eight-team Northern Colorado Athletics Conference championships last weekend at Everly-Montgomery Field. Girls' winners included Lea Irvin in the 100-meter hurdles (15.41 seconds), Maya Pears in the 300 hurdles (48.18), Jordan Johnson in long jump (17 feet, 5 inches) and Ella Pears in the triple jump (37 feet, 8 inches). For the boys, Teagan Malcom won the 110 hurdles (14.61) and 300 hurdles (38.90), while Miles Miller won the 1,600 (9:52.45) and Mason Hendricks won the high jump (6-2 1/2).

Niwot track and field: The Cougars swept the 10-team Longs Peak League meet at Everly-Montgomery Field over the weekend. Reese Kasper won the 100 hurdles (14.88) and 300 hurdles (43.21), while Jade West won shot put (44 feet and 5 inches) and discus (133-2). Simocea Esquibel (400; 57.98) and Olivia Alessandrini (3,200; 11:12.57) also had wins for the girls' team. Evan Kear (9:38.75) won the 3,200 for the boys' team. The girls' team also won the 16-team Stutler Twilight at Cherry Creek on Tuesday.

Peak to Peak girls' tennis: At 3A Region 1, No. 2 singles player Sydney Lewis and No. 3 Ranye Ezenekwe won regional titles as the Pumas qualified all seven positions to this week's individual state tournament. The Pumas also beat Prospect Ridge Academy in the 3A dual team quarterfinals a week ago and will face Vail Christian in the semifinals Tuesday.

Silver Creek boys' swimming: The Raptors finished second to Windsor at the Northern Colorado Athletics Conference championships over the weekend. Stephen Codevilla won the 200 individual medley (1:56.64) and set 4A's top time in the 100 backstroke (50.51). James Story swam the fastest 4A 100 freestyle (47.12) and Chayakorn Ngampatipatpong won the 100 breaststroke (58.47).

Katy Adler, Mead girls' soccer: The junior finished the regular season last week with five goals and three assists in three games, helping the Mavericks (12-1-1) get the No. 5 seed in the 4A postseason. Adler has 18 goals and seven assists as Mead is 11-0 this season when she tallies a point.

Liam Connors, Erie boys' lacrosse: The University of Denver commit had 10 goals and three assists last week as the Tigers (11-3) ended the regular season on a six-game winning streak. Helped by his 45 goals and 24 assists, Erie is the top seed in the 4A playoffs. It has a bye in the first round.

Gianna Gagliano, Jefferson Academy girls' soccer: The senior had 10 goals and two assists last week as the Jaguars beat their final three opponents of the regular season to lock up the No. 2 seed in the 3A playoffs. Now with 31 goals, she has 30-plus goals the past two seasons and 87 in her career.

Rhys Gibson, Broomfield boys' swimming: At the Northern Colorado Athletics Conference Championships, he won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:53.37. He was also a part of a 200 medley relay (1:41.46 prelims) that had the fastest time in the meet, along with Tyler Post, Riley Glass and Burke Frese .

Ava Hickey, Fairview girls' golf: The senior won the fourth Front Range League match, shooting par-70 at the Flatirons Golf Course on Wednesday.

Maren Holecek, Monarch girls' track and field: She ran personal-best times in wins in the 100 (12.22 seconds) and 200 (25.26) at the Front Range League Championships last week.

Gavin Keogh, Monarch boys' swimming: The junior won the 100-yard backstroke (47.38 seconds) at the Front Range League Championships over the weekend, the state's fastest time of the season.

Stella Laird, Fairview girls' tennis: Taking over the top singles spot for the injured Quinn Bernthal this season, Laird won the No. 1 singles title at 5A Region 5 last week.

Girls tennis: Fairview, Legacy sending No. 1 singles to state

Cloe Ruth, Silver Creek girls' track and field: The junior won three events at the eight-team Northern Colorado Athletics Conference Championships over the weekend, winning the 800 (2:18.46), the 1,600 (5:20.21) and the 3,200 (11.34.15).

Wyatt Waters, Lyons baseball: The senior made two appearances on the mound last week, allowing no earned runs while striking out 35 in 13 2/3 innings. The senior is 5-3 with a 1.99 ERA in 52 2/3 frames this season. The Lions beat Front Range Christian, DSST: Montview and Liberty Common last week to improve to 13-4 on the year.
